Anderson assesses the merits of 'teabagging'
Teabagging is real, it's here, and you better get used to it!...
... The movement is in full swing... bobbing back and forth from coast to coast
... And apparently teabaggers have united to send a message to the President loud and clear... they're not gonna take it sitting down
...Ok, so yeah, I think I'll take my head out of the gutter for a minute. But can you blame me? I guess if a respected journalist like Anderson Cooper of CNN can let a few teabag jokes slip, then there's no harm in having fun a little fun
... Who'd have thought the most conservative members of this country would gleefully promote teabagging... and enjoy every minute of it. Guess you really can never judge a book by it's cover I suppose

Job hunting in a bad economy?
I'm gainfully employed at the moment... I'm grateful for my job, and I'm happy thus far in having managed to avoid the misfortune (*knock on wood
*) of winding up as one of the several hundred-thousand each month involuntarily forced back into the job market... That said, I have in fact voluntarily been looking for work these past couple of weeks... basically taking away from my free time blogging somewhat (I'm sure you guys might've noticed
)...

I just feel like it's time... time to move onto bigger and better things with hopefully a higher paying salary than this first-job-out-of-college position that I'm currently drudging to daily. It's time to move on, but the economy has literally gone to hell
... and therein lies the dilemma.
I don't know, maybe I should just be grateful I can still get up in the morning and go to work... as opposed to sitting full-time looking for a job online

Jon Stewart skewers CNBC
What a sad state of affairs we've arrived at... that in this country we've reached the point where comedians have to be the ones exposing the self-serving media for being exactly what it is... self-serving. CNBC is perhaps a prime example just such a case... where (supposed) 'economists' have been playing cheerleaders for a team that in essence turned out to be to be the progenitors of this current economic crisis. What a sad state of affairs indeed.
That said, I've noticed Jon Stewart has really been at his best lately. When he's mad he's great, but when he's outraged it seems he really doesn't hold back
... Then again, there's a lot to be outraged about nowadays so who can really blame him...

Who is this... Obama...?
This President of ours... who exactly is he, this "man" we've come to "know" and "admire" as President Obama? How did he get here? Where did he come from? And what are his ultimate goals?... This charismatic yet mysterious politician who we're now hailing as the 44th President of these United States...So what's the conclusion? I guess if you're a charismatic/popular figure, then odds are better than not, you're either the anti-Christ, or the reincarnation of Hitler... (never both at once though
).... Interesting
... Never underestimate the potential for comedy within the midst of stark raving lunacy
...
(*removes hat*)... Excuse me for a second while I place this tinfoil on the counter... Ok, where was I... oh yeah
. So seriously, who is President Barack Obama? Well, apparently some 'brilliant' minds have come up with a couple of theories that might shock you (perhaps even disturb you somewhat). The Daily Show investigates...

What is the KRud (Kevin Rudd) doing for Aussie Battlers?

'Not Happy John!' Summed up what the Australian public felt as they voted Kevin in 07. It's been almost half a year now since Kevin became the 26th prime minister of Australia and appointed Australia's second most sexiest woman Julia Gillard as second in command. So the question remains, what has K-Rudd done for the Aussie battler? The good news is he hasn't done jack. Apart from having a 2020 summit hosted by Kate Blanchet, where supposedly smart people got the chance to add their 2-cents on issues the common man could care less about. No one gives a hairy monkey's balls about climate change, aborigines sniffing petrol and/or arts and culture, when the cost of living is shooting off like a cheap Chinese sky-rocket.
Thanks to rampant monopolies, grocery prices are so uncontrollably high that despite buying only home brand you still have to decide which two meals out of the recommended three a day you want to eat. Service stations running amok and raping the public in broad daylight. The housing and rental crisis reaching breaking point, with people having to choose between eating and living in a rat-infested sewer of a house, or paying a mortgage and surviving on dog-food. Banks increasing interest rates carte blanche. This is the horrific situation 80% of the Australians face today.
What has K-Rudd done to address these pressing issues? He's started heaps of commissions. From petrol and grocery commissions to "how many times a day do you fart" commissions. Basically he's done jack all, and jack has just taken the Greyhound to live in the outback with the Kangas, where it's a little cheaper. We need someone who'll take some action. Not go chasing japan about bloody whaling. Japan could kill and eat all the god-damn whales on the earth, build spaceships, go to some other galaxy, find a planet like earth, hunt kill and eat all the whales there, and I wouldn't give a Britney's shaved crotch. I'm struggling to pump petrol in my car, put food on my table and send my kids to child-care. "Hey Kev! Screw the whales pal, your people need you."
Tough times need tough old coots. Not mandarin speaking nancy boys, who talk nice and appear to try to please everyone, all the while reaming you anally with his small dick. To think that I voted for Kevin Rudd! I never thought I'd say this but 'Bring back the John!'
