(Side note: Having listened to it for the first time on this flight, I really appreciate airlines that put the air traffic control traffic on one of the audio channels. It was neat -- and somewhat comforting -- to know exactly what my pilot was doing up there.)United is the ONLY airline that does this.

For those of you saying that we live in a capitalistic society... not by a long shot. Corporate welfare is MUCH MUCH bigger than any fictional welfare queen in Brooklyn. These companies receive tax cuts, loopholes, exemptions far beyond what a middle class suburban couple has access to.
What Target and Walmart are doing is actually against some of the monopoly legistation that was passed in the early 20th century. One of the tenets was that a company coulodn't tell another producer who they could sell to, at what price, etc. This prevented a very large company from gaining to much of an advantage over their competitors.
What Target and Walmart are probably threatening is to just jack up the prices on the DVDs a couple of dollars. This improves their bottom line and reduces the number of impluse buys a consumer makes on a DVD. Or to not put DVD on encaps, in front of the stores next to the checkout. They really do have a myriad of ways of making the studios lose some profit. At tsome point though, the retailers are going to shaft themselves. It really is a game of chicken and the first one to blink, gets the bullet in the head (how's that for mixed metaphors?)

And since they're not in cahoots with each other (THAT would actually be a monopolistic type practice) neither can actually jack the price, because everyone would simply go to Walmart or Target respectively. Or Best Buy, or Curcuit City or whoever. Walmart may be the biggest seller of DVDs, but it they yank them then they won't be. And they won't pull people into their stores to buy stuff they actually make profit on. Another company will glady pickup the slack.
The reason Walmart and Target are all talk is because they have no hand. None. They're backed into a corner. Thier best bet is to open their own online download biz.

Trump is too much about himself and his personality has to get him what he wants. Unfortunately, it doesn't work that way in the White House. He won't get everything his way and he needs to do things based on the citizens, not what he wants.

Apple is about quality, and they are not going to release an inferior product that they know is going to cause a lot of problems once it goes out to the public. Just look at how carried away people got when they started having reception problems.
As for this kid... Anybody read the Terms and conditions on his site ? He states that everything he sells is as-is. Once it leaves his door, then he is not responsible for the product, even if it arrives to you defective. And the worst part is that changing the case voids your apple warranty. If your phone dies in 3 months, then Apple can refuse to repair it because you took the phone apart.

Used some off camera flash to create contrast between the falling snow and the rest of the scene. Totally forgot to CTO gel it but oh well! Even more contrast now!

Is it me or does that phone look strangely proportioned? My black iP4 looks just minimally larger in my hand than my iPod Touch 4th gen, yet that phone looks really large in his hand. And I don't have large hands. It looks especially thicker. Maybe it's because I have only had one cup of coffee today. Time to get more.

It really isn't fair to compare the MBA to a netbook as all they have in common is size. And Widnows is worth its value to over a billion users too.
The other thing to consider is usage. Many people who use a small laptop like the MBA or those listed are not looking for a powerhouse of a computer. Just a tool to surf, do some email or document creation. In that case a netbook is perfectly suited. Beside why spend > 1,000 when you can spend 300 that provides that level of functionality.
I want to point out that I prefer OSX, and buy Macs (and have built a hackintosh). I'm not some anti-apple troll or anyhting.
I base my purchase decisions on what fits my needs the best. There's a number of blind fanboy posts that knock anything thats non apple.
Other computer makers produce good products and windows itself is a good OS. Just because it doesn't have that apple logo means its crap

I disagree. Apple doesn't need to compete with that at all. Android is not taking iPhone sales as long as Apple is selling them as fast as they can make them. In fact, the smaller droids are too small and the larger droids are too large. Size is always a compromise and the iPhone is an example of the perfect compromise. Not too small - and not too big - but just right. It works for the vast majority and they don't need other sizes. And for those of you talking about a nano size iPhone - it wouldn't be an iPhone. There are just too many things you would not be able to do. I have had tiny phones and the compromise on usability is not worth it. On the other hand, any larger and the iPhone would just be a small iPad. Too large to carry in your pocket, but not as big as the iPad. Maybe a good thought for a pad, but not for a phone. Most people need to put their phone in a multitude of pockets and jeans pockets are just right for the current iPhone. If it was even a fraction bigger it would be uncomfortable. The devices this guy is hearing rumors about could be a smaller iPad to compete with the new 7inch pads and a smaller ipod between the touch and the nano, which borders on being too small. They eventually need a new ipod form factor to replace the classic. That should already be in the works. Lot's of storage with not so much screen as a touch so you can put your money into storage instead of screen. He's just guessing they are phones.

I have the same problem.. it might be. may it be that mac version is not available if submitted computer stats are of a pc?That can't be it, because I gave mac specs, and had an option to download the pc or mac version. I think I remember reading something about the mac beta being only for america, though i could be mistaken.
